  3. If in any doubt about what to do or how, use the
  4. Interactive Help facility (!Help), If no help is
  5. received from !Help then ensure that HelpWanted is
  6. set to TRUE in the !Run file of !FontTest.

  8. Version 0.87 24th February 1991
  9. Recreates font menu automatically when a new font
  10. directory has been selected. It will now display
  11. the 'All Fonts' to the preview window. Not very
  12. reliable, not very tidy, but it works. It will not
  13. yet however send that display to the printer.

  15. Version 0.88 3rd March 1991
  16. Now prints out in both display modes. There is a 
  17. problem however when the output exceeds one page.
  18. The rest is just ignored! but rest assured I am 
  19. working on it.....

  24. Here is a list of some of the things I hope to do
  25. in the future, if I have the time 
  26.  
  27. * Get multi-tasking printing to work.
  28.  
  29. * Add a short paragraph of 'Body text' after the
  30.   Character set, this shows the font off better
  31.   than a meaningless stream of letters.
  32.  
  33. * Improve the ReDraw window routine, at the moment
  34.   it uses the 'brute force' method of redrawing
  35.   everything all the time. It would be better if it
  36.   only did the fonts which fell within the clipping
  37.   rectangle.

  40. This program has been placed into the public
  41. domain by Mark Bright. It may be freely copied and
  42. distributed for non-profit making purposes, so
  43. long as the code is not altered (apart from
  44. customising !Run/!Boot files) and this text file
  45. remains present and unaltered. Routines from this
  46. program may be used if they are of any use to you,
  47. in a PD program but please credit me. If however
  48. you wish to use bits in a commercial program then
  49. please contact me for permission first, you will
  50. find my royalty rates a great deal cheaper than
  51. the Court case which WILL follow.
